Product is a semi-synthetic flavonoid synthesised from Citrus Aurantium L., a modification of diosmin through specialised synthesis using chlorosulfonic acid reaction and alkaline hydrolysis. This pharmaceutical quality raw material is a yellow to yellow brown fine powder with good water solubility, which basically solves the bioavailability problem of the ordinary diosmin. Our product criteria is 85% purity by HPLC CAS number 115960-14-0 The improved hydrophilic qualities allow a quick dissolving in aqueous media, thus it is useful in different pharmacological preparations aimed at supporting the venous health and microcirculation.​​​​​​​

Step 2 - Diosmin Extraction: The raw components are treated by modern enzymatic extraction and column chromatography purification in our 100,000-level clean workshop. Result: Base material of diosmin with high purity, HPLC proved purity > 90%.

Step 3 - Chemical Modification: The purified dioxmin is reacted with chlorosulfonic acid under regulated temperature and pH settings, and then is subjected to exact alkaline hydrolysis in specialised reactors. Result: Structural change generates the hydrophilic hydroxyl groups characteristic of the product.

Step 4 - Purification & Crystallisation: The reaction mixture is purified by multi-stage recrystallisation and activated carbon decolorisation to eliminate unreacted intermediates and impurities. Result: 85%+ purity specification pharmaceutical grade crystal powder.

Step 5 - Drying & Milling: The crystals are spray dried under vacuum and processed using precision equipment to obtain a homogeneous particle size distribution. Free flowing powder having improved dissolving rate and tableting capabilities.
